This is the flyer for the educational presentation for our Deaf community and/or those individuals experiencing hearing loss. There will also be an opportunity for individuals to apply for FREE strobe light smoke alarms and/or vibrating smoke alarms. The presentation is next week Tuesday. Details in the attachment.

Fire risks for people who are Deaf or hard of hearing
Tuesday, November 9th from 5:45 – 7:00pm
at the Grand Traverse Metro Fire Station 11, 3000 Albany in Traverse City – located off of Veteran’s Drive.
· Investigate the unique challenges during an emergency
· Learn about fire prevention and resources available in our community
· Find out what to do before a fire/during a fire
· Hear first hand experiences from Deaf community members and firefighters
· Apply to receive a free strobe light smoke detector and/or vibration alarm
