Medicare News March 2011

You may be eligible for a Medicare Savings Program

Do you want your $96.40 (or $110.50 or $115.40) put back into your social security check and still have Part B coverage?
  • Are you on Medicare?
  • Is your income less than $1226 a month if single or less than $1655 a month if married?
  • Are your savings, investments and real estate (other than your home and vehicle) less than $6,680* if single or less than $10,020* if married?

· These resource limits could include an additional $1500 per person for burial expenses if in a separate savings account.

If so, contact your local Commission on Aging OR
